I was confused with the entries in his file and had to look in the one for my domain. It was still not clear but looking the man pages of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freebsd.org\/cgi\/man.cgi?query=named&#38;apropos=0&#38;sektion=0&#38;manpath=FreeBSD+5.1-RELEASE+and+Ports&#38;format=html\">named<\/a>  and some of the RFC&#8217;s refered there I started to get a grip again about the situation.<\/p>\n<p>This is how my zone file looks like for yelloworb.com:<\/p>\n<pre>$TTL    3600<br \/>\n@       IN      SOA     ns.yelloworb.com.       karl-petter.home.se. Some googling didnt help much but going back to the roots and reading some of teh RFC&#8217;s explained it all, specifically <a href=\"ftp:\/\/ftp.isi.edu\/in-notes\/rfc974.txt\">RFC974<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Josef zone file looks like this now and I&#8217;m quite sure it will work:<\/p>\n<pre>$TTL    3600\n@       IN      SOA     ns.yelloworb.com.       karl-petter.home.se.
