Oddcast [V]Host

OddCast SitePal is a Flash based animated Virtual host one can have on a webpage. You can either record a sound file to have it speak it or use a TTS engine to have it read any text.

    i did some looking on this and i couldn’t find any halfway decent flash character sites other than sitepal. i went to their site (www.sitepal.com) and it’s not free, but they do give you your money back if you don’t like it.

    Hi guys as a flash pro a client needed/wanted something like this i looked at sitepal but thought the price was to expensive due to it being a subscription and them streaming content from there site. I found an alternative that is more flexable and suited my needs a whole lot more its called Vocalise Wav webpage is http://www.digitalcuriosity.com. It is an add on for Flash MX so you will need this to but as the site is being made with this thats no prob for me plus its a tool so theres only the one off payment to buy it. I now charge ny clients for updating this character so it paid for its self.

    SITEPAL has a prog that can easily be hacked and used to your full advantage.

    SITEPAL isn’t the only animated virtual host out there and many are better and free.
