Have spent the last days with moving all my webpages, blog etc to a new host. It takes some time to transfer 5Gb with only 700 kbit uplink! But now it should live in a much more responsive environment with 5mbit access! Please let me know how it works for you. Does the site feel faster? Slower? Or??
Welcome!

Hello Kalle,
I saw your posts in the Gandi forum about migration to Gandi Hosting.
Do you mind me asking how many shares you are currently using?
I am thinking about migrating my own website from a home server to Gandi as well, and was curious about the performance increase/decrease.
Kind regards,
Jason
Hi Jason!
Right now I'm running on only one share and it seems to be enough, I notice a slight improvement if I add one more but not drastically. What is your impression of the speed of surfing the blog here? Does it feell responsive and quick?
And if you go to http://www.yelloworb.com/privat/images/ and compare the load speed of those static pages there?
Personally I would want it a bit faster, and right now I think its the SPAM filter for the mail that is the main issue, so considering moving the mail into its own server and keep the web on one, but feels a bit too expansive to have to shares.
